GOVERNMENT Secondary School, Pankshin came into existence precisely on January 8, 1970 as a result of the efforts of the people that made up the former Pankshin Division. This was born through the tired less efforts of the first Pankshin /Kanam Community Secondary School Planning Committee members, among which were:

1. Mr.W.A. Kombol-Chairman (D.O.)

2. Mr. D. D. Dimka- Vice Chairman (C/LG)

3. Mr. Deshi Toklen-School Manager
